| CHIPIDEA extends its 90nm CMOS portfolio with a Low Power and Very Compact 1GHz ADC for Blu-ray and UWB systems |
CHIPIDEA extends its 90nm portfolio with a very Low Power 6-bit, 1GHz ADC. The CI3412hm
is very compact, dissipates only 55mW at a conversion rate of 1GHz,
and is suitable for applications requiring very-high speed converters,
such as ultra wideband (UWB) communication systems and Blu-ray DVD
AFEs. The built-in test features can be used to reduce unit costs by
simplifying production tests.
Brief DescriptionDigital error correction is employed to reduce DNL errors and eliminate missing codes. The references voltages are internally generated from the power supply. A power down capability is included for extremely low power dissipation.
