System and Application Engineers |
 Requirements
- University degree in Electronic/Communications Engineering (minimum Licenciatura or equivalent degree; M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees strongly preferred)
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience (academic work can be considered)
- Excellent knowledge of digital techniques, especially modulation/demodulation, timing recovery, adaptive filtering, error correction, coding, compression, etc.
- Experience of algorithm development in MATLAB, C++

Preferential Requirements
- Knowledge of wireless communications, both data and voice, and/or multimedia
- Previous exposure to ASIC implementations is strongly desirable
|
Duties
- Definition of architectures for communication/multimedia chips, for both wireless and wireline applications
- Specification of analog and digital functions
- Development of IP components for communication/multimedia applications
