CAD/EDA Development Engineers |
 Job Description
We are looking for proactive engineers to join the Software Development team for Electronic Design Automation to build first-class tools to increase engineering productivity. You will be responsible to design, build and support tools to automate existing engineering processes, automate tasks and leverage the productivity of Chipidea engineers worldwide.
Your customers will be the Chipidea electrical engineers and you'll work closely to them to understand requirements, develop solutions and enhance existing solutions. You should be comfortable with multi-tasking, handling interrupts and interact with a multi-skilled team.

Requirements
- University degree in Electrical/Computers Engineering;
- Exposure to electrical circuit theory;
- Strong problem solving capability;
- Strong programming skills and ability to learn any programming language;
- Strong customer orientation;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and client-facing skills;
- A track record of "getting things done" and ability to make pragmatic compromises to make progress.

Preferential Requirements
- Previous exposure to Cadence;
- Strong experience with SKILL;
- Strong experience with Python, Unix/Linux;
- Strong experience with scripting languages;
- Previous exposure to Hspice, Nanosim, Hsim, Calibre, Hercules, Design Compiler, Astro;
